30-12-2024This seems like nice rope with a good feel against the skin. There are three pieces, each about 30 feet long.The material feels nice, but I couldn't find any statement about what it is actually made of. It does have a lovely shine to it and is probably some synthetic material.The size is good, about the minimum thickness you want for this purpose. Thicker would be nicer (it is gentler on the skin) but this is fine. It has very little stretch to it.The length is pretty long. When tying knots, you often have to pull the entire remaining strand through to create the knot. A long strand means you will spend a lot of time pulling through. While it is nice to have some long ropes, you will want some shorter segments as well. These come with nice end caps, and if you decide to cut there ropes you will need some way to prevent the new ends from fraying. I think I would prefer a set with varied lengths, ideally color-coded so you find what you are looking for quickly.Overall this is a nice little set of starter ropes. The black shiny color is dramatic and outlines body features nicely. Worth getting!
