Update: the seller shipped the correct*charging cords.* The range and clarity on these is impressive. If it weren't for one serious issue, I'd give them 6 stars.I went across the street and 4 houses down and could still talk to my husband while he was in our house on the second floor.I loved the orange color and even the size- they look so grown-up, but are perfect for little hands. So, what's the issue? The included charging cables do NOT FIT the walkie talkies. The walky-talkies have a USB-c port and the included cables have a USB-A male end to plug into a wall charger (good), and a micro USB male end which obviously will not fit into the walkie-talkies.I had some spare cable around the house that I use to charge them, but it's not right to charge people for included cables and then including ones that won't work.
My suggestion is to not buy this product because you will spend additional monies to buy the proper charging cord. This product, upon taking everything out of the box, does not have the correct cord to charge.I notified Amazon who notified the seller and sent a second box.Opening that was the same , cord doesn't match the port. You will spend money but 2 of the proper cords to charge. So do not buy.Look at reviews if you don't mind separately buying 2 additional cords.
These are nice simple to use no frills radios (good for apple phone user market segment). Xmas present for our 3yr old and they use standard FRS channels so work well with our other radios. The charging cable thing is a non-issue, they are sending USB-C replacements but USB-C is universal so you should already have those anyway.
